YouNet -Reggio Emilia
YouNet - Reggio Emilia is the sister organization of YouNet in Bologna. Its aim is to implement training and international mobility projects in the area of Parma and Reggio Emilia in the context of the Erasmus+ program.
The main mission of YouNet - Reggio Emilia is to strengthen young people employability and to ease their transition to the labour market through projects of vocational and educational placement, convinced of the value and effectiveness of the international mobility experience.
In order to achieve this objective, YouNet - Reggio Emilia promotes and organize voluntary services and short/mid/long term trainings, both on a local and international level. This way volunteers and employees gain awareness and strategic skills about the management of European projects, particularly Erasmus+.
All our initiatives aim to build an inclusive and tolerant society based on dialogue, in order to encourage active citizenship and promote the European and intercultural dimension, focusing on young people and the local authorities we cooperate with.
We believe that our mobility projects, volunteering services and professional training activities can really bring to a renewal of the traditional educational system and to the exchange with the local realities.
Active projects:
VET (Vocational and Educational Training): each month we cooperate with technical and professional institutes from lots of European countries, welcoming students that attend an internship in companies and organizations (partners of YouNet) in Reggio Emilia and Parma. As coordinators of the project, we take care of finding the companies in which the students can attend their internship and we organize cultural activities that can help them to know the context in which they are hosted.
ESC (European Solidarity Corps): YouNet - Reggio Emilia hosts young Europeans involved in long term volunteering international projects. At YouNet - Reggio Emilia these volunteers support the staff in the activities and they interact with the different organizations of the local NGO scene.
